• International trade finance qualifications

  ifs University College's professional qualifications in trade finance were developed in partnership with the International Chamber of Commerce. They are designed for relationship managers working in international banks who are seeking to understand more about trade finance, and for specialist staff working in mid- and back-office roles who want to understand the key aspects of trade finance products and services.

• Specialists

  In addition to the Certificate in International Trade Finance we also offer qualifications for specialists working with Documentary Credit or Demand Guarantees, which develop students' knowledge of industry regulations, best practice and the issues and challenges surrounding each area.

Continuing Professional Development

ifs University College trade finance qualifications must be recertified after three years through the Continuing Professional Development programme which is provided by the Institute of Financial Services, the professional body of ifs University College.

• Certificate in International Trade and Finance (CITF®)
  
  Enables trade, export and commodity executives to gain an understanding of international trade procedures, practices and
  legislation.

• Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists (CDCS®)
  
  Developed in partnership with the International Chamber of Commerce, this qualification reflects best practice for documentary credit specialists.

• Certificate for Specialists in Demand Guarantees (CSDG®)
  
  Develops demand guarantee professionals' knowledge of industry rules, legislation and the challenges relating to demand guarantees and standby credits.
